Clip 3 from "Does it Swing?". The musicians describe how a piano works in a jazz ensemble. Reginald Thomas and Alvin Atkinson demonstrate "call and response", and explain how jazz is a language. This is followed by a live performance of "Blue Monk". This show was recorded at the Barbican in June 2010.
