This Video is for Troubleshooting a Refrigerator that is not cooling. In this case we are talking about a fridge that the freezer is still freezing but the fridge section is not cooling. This is usually the sign of a Defrost issue. This is a simple step by step tutorial on how to locate the faulty defrost system component. There are basically three things that control the defrost system. -DEFROST TIMER -DEFROST THERMOSTAT -DEFROST HEATER The refrigerator shown in this video is a Frigidaire, FRT model. These checks will work with pretty much any brand of top freezer refrigerator,including Whirlpool, Maytag, GE and so on.
