Worship in Israel fell out of favor with God because it no longer concerned itself WITH God. It became a ritual of perfect rule-following and custom but forget what it was intended to address. As Amos confronted his people there might have been a smattering of denial but their lack of righteousness and justice was all the evidence that was needed for a conviction. 13 November 2016 Paul, Idaho
