Throughout her career, she has worked tirelessly to study how we are affecting our climate, and to communicate those findings to the faith community. She was named one of TIME's 100 Most Powerful People in 2014 and received the American Geophysical Union's Climate Communication Prize. Her work as a climate change evangelist is featured in articles appearing in The New York Times, The LA Times, Grist, On Earth, and Climate Progress. In October she appeared at the White House to discuss global warming with President Obama and Leonardo DiCaprio at the first South by South Lawn Ideas Festival.
