submitted by Team World2Cycle on 09/04/17 1

Our first trip to Switzerland so we thought we'd explore one of the country's best kept secrets, the 2,253m high Col du Sanetsch in Valais. I've always been intrigued by this climb but with relatively little information available on it we're very pleased to be joined by local expert Alain Rumpf from Grand Tours Project on a 33km journey from Sion to the summit and beyond! Start: Sion Length: 33km Summit: 2,253m Elevation gain: 1,745m Average gradient: 6% Max gradient: 16% Ridden in June For more help and advice visit our website at thecolcollective.com, become part of our col community and sign up for our free newsletter for monthly updates. And if you fancy riding with us then we'll be hosting a number of cycling experiences for all abilities in the French Pyrenees each summer. Details available at thecolcollective.com/cycling-tours. Thank you to our partners Mavic, Cannondale, Exposure Lights, Lezyne, MyPower by InfoCrank, Muc Off, The Sufferfest, TORQ and USE for enabling us to bring these truly special mountains to life for you all.
