La Cueva High School Bears’ second goal was questionable on Tuesday, especially by the Manzano High School Monarch fans. La Cueva’s Payton Balduini blocks a clear out Monarch’s defense. Teammate Nicole Feist controls the ball and directs it towards the corner of the goal. Sveum goes down on the ground to block the shot. The controversy emerges when Balduini gets behind Feist’s slow-rolling shot and send sends the ball straight into the net.
