At war with trolls, the irrepressible Peer dreams of becoming emperor of the world. An epic saga of mountains and monsters, told with puppetry, ensemble movement, and live music, Gruffdog’s adaptation promises to bring a fierce intensity to Ibsen’s classic. Following their U.K. tour to the Buxton Fringe and the Sheffield Drama Studio, Gruffdog Theatre will bring Ibsen’s Peer Gynt to ZOO at the Edinburgh Fringe for the full month of August 2017.
