Broga Hill, Blue Tears and Sky Mirror - I Would Walk 500 Miles

submitted by Adventures on 07/31/17 1

Broga Hill is a nice, casual trek that almost anyone can complete. At just 400m, it offers a beautiful view of the surrounding area. Perfect for picnics, our West Malaysia adventure plans on a sunrise hike to enjoy the changing colours of the morning sky. Broga Hill is just outside of a small community which shares its name. It is about 50km from Kuala Lumpur and is 33km from Seremban. The hills of the area are green, lush, and inviting. We also caught a strawberry sunset at Bagan Sungai Burung. Pulau Sembilan is included via ferry, popular for its plankton that look like blue tears during night viewing. Then we made our way to Sky Mirror, near P. Sembilan. Named because of the reflections offered freely of the sky, this partially submerged beach is accessible about 7 times per month during the lowest tides. It is an incredible photographic opportunity. There is a multitude of marine life to be found here as well, from clams to sand dollars to sea grapes.
