However, I was raised in a very strict household where sexual desires were not to be spoken about let alone acted upon so at times when I feel any type of sexual desire towards my boyfriend I feel guilty and think I'm sinning because we're not married yet, but he says we should talk about those desires… 1) God did place those desires in us 2) This topic must be addressed in a godly manner if we are pursuing marriage. How do we talk about our sexuality in a godly manner? Are we supposed to even be talking about it at all?
