On 15 February, 2014, 350 stood against deep sea oil in Kaikoura. As a crowd gathered at the Whale Watch beach, a procession from the iSite that came up the West End through the New Zealand town of Kaikoura, crossing over the Lyle Creek, ending in a Haka amongst the crowd. Over 2000 gathered at beaches along the South Island from Nelson to Bluff. The message to Anadarko and the New Zealand Government is that drilling in these waters is not worth the risk.
