Briksdal Glaciar, Vettisfossen, Norway 4K

The huge Briksdal Glacier forms part of the Jostedal Glacier National Park in the middle of Fjord Norway. The wild glacier slope plunges from a height of 1200 metres down to the lush, narrow Briksdal valley - a sight that attract 300,000 visitors from all over the world each year. I was standing right on the top and even managed to point my camera over the edge... It was frightening/awesome! Vettisfossen is one of Norway's tallest waterfalls, and the 284th tallest in the world. The waterfall has a single drop of 275 metres (902 ft). This is the highest fall in Northern Europe which is not regulated through a hydroelectric power station (Måbødalsfossen being the highest). Visit Nordfjord consist of the municipalities Stryn, Hornindal, Gloppen, Eid, Vågsøy and Selje. We also run the tourist information offices in the region.
