Thanks to the herculean efforts of 100 Zero Waste San Diego volunteers and EDCO's generosity... Earth Fair 2014 in Balboa Park diverted 75% of the 60,000 attendees' 4 tons of discards (2 tons recycled, 1 ton composted) and donated 500 pounds of good food to homeless shelters. Let's all pitch in and get to 100% diversion - ZERO WASTE - this year!
