I'm working on a project to document traditional Cowboy Poets performing their craft. This is the second video I have shot, which was done in Alpine, Tx. Featured is Don Cadden, who performs his poem Texan Pride. Don retired from central Texas to Alpine a few years back and now works cattle and runs his several businesses from afar. He's also the president of the Alpine Cowboy Poetry Gathering board, which is the second longest running gathering of its kind.
