GOD IS A JEW. |REV CHRIS CHRISTIAN 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. JOHN 14: 8 – 10. Jesus began to say to them talking about My Father, they came to him one day (Philip) saying you keep talking about your father, show us the Father that we might know Him, Jesus turned to Philip and said have I stayed long with you and you know nothing how long will I stay with you before you know me, he said Philip have I not stayed long with you that you should know that I am in My Father and My Father is in me, that anybody who has seen me has seen the father, that He is a Hebrew man. The father here is talking about God, this Hebrew Messiah said to Philip just like I am saying to you today, you cannot be looking for God when you have seen me, and anybody who has seen me has seen God. Now if you look at the person we are talking about, is a Jewish Messiah, and in this contest has Jesus not represented God? Do you ignore Jesus and look for God? Do you remove where Jesus came from (His antecedents) and be talking about his accomplishment? Background is everything, Jesus is a Jew, and God depend on Him to reveal everything.
