Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) is a bad choice for residents and consumers. Government can't offer cheaper, more reliable electricity because of mandated renewable energy cost too much. Solar and wind, are subsidized by tax dollars; once they dry up, the cost of electricity goes up. It is impossible for a city to become "Carbon-Neutral" through the use of subsidized renewable energy.
