Combined Remedies Approach Addresses Contaminants at a Former NJ Lock Manufacturing Site
This video documents a remediation project at a former lock manufacturing facility in New Jersey using remediation products and design and application services from REGENESIS. Advanced GeoServices Corp., an environmental consulting firm, selected REGENESIS for their remediation expertise and in situ technologies to help their client limit risk by reducing contaminant concentrations quickly and effectively. PersulfOx®, an ISCO reagent from REGENESIS, was used to reduce contaminants below imminent environmental concern conditions. Two PlumeStop® Liquid Activated Carbon™ barriers were then installed to manage cVOC migration, along with the electron donor HRC® to promote biodegradation. The strategic remediation design from REGENESIS will mitigate the contamination in this urban environment and protect the surrounding areas.
