“A Call to Dawah” like no other. Shaikh Hamza Yusuf, young and at his best, brilliantly illustrates the first condition of Dawah in this lecture and that is the fortification of faith. Before you give Dawah to anyone your belief in what you preach should be solid and you should have clear understanding of why Allah’s religion is the ONLY religion and why we must ask all to embrace it. Saying we are Muslims is not enough, we must keep striving to better ourselves so that we can better others. He calls on us to give Dawah to ourselves everyday of our lives and make sure that we understand one clear fact that Islam is a House we enter into. He says, “If you don’t want to observe the manners of the House (abode of Islam), don’t come into the House. Because the House has manners and the House has a Lord!” He asks us to learn our manners through the Quran and Sunnah so that we deserve entry into this House and a place to stay in this House. If there is one lecture that you should sit through and really take in it is this one. In these critical times we need to firmly grasp the rope of Allah…we need to change ourselves to save ourselves.
