What happens during a first therapy appointment?
What should you expect when making your first therapy appointment? What will they ask me? Do I need to fill out paperwork? When do we talk about cost and payment? I try to give you all the information you will need to be prepared to make and attend your first therapy appointment. The most important thing to remember is that the sooner we reach out for help the better! There is no reason for us to suffer alone when there are many people out there who have dedicated their lives to helping others work through their issues. Also, know that if you don't like the therapist or feel like you "click" with them, you do NOT have to make another appointment! It may take you a few tried to find the therapist who is right for you. So please don't give up!
