Five San Diego City College students from Africa - four of them refugees - tell their stories of leaving their homelands and coming to America. Also in this film, 4-time Olympian Meb Keflezighi (an Eritrean refugee in the late 80's) and Walter Lam, the president, CEO and founder of Alliance for African Assistance, who fled Uganda in 1986.
