London Down Band members: *Ken Hartsoe (Drums, vocals) *Chris Carbone (Bass, vocals) *Steve Hartsoe (Lead vocals, guitar) *Phillip Benjamin (Lead Guitar, vocals) -Co-founder of Pow! Magazine, Dennis Gonzales introduces London Down on stage. -Music from London Down: "Posession Obsession/Tomorrow and Today" (Live - Oct. 28, 1987) Show Notes: According to Phil Benjamin, Chris Carbone wrote the song, Chucky" inspired from a dream he had. It wasn't too long after London Down released the album, Strange Places Unknown that the movie by the same name (Chucky) and storyline was released. Phil always thought something was fishy about the movie, but the band could never prove anything. London Down had written the song close to two years before the album was released, so it was out there long before the movie. KFJC Studio video by Eme O. Akpabio, May 17, 2011. Live video by Joy Engstrom. Thank you London Down for the support so many years ago. I also like to thank The Ashtray for giving me permission to use his "The Horror aka "Killer Doll" (2000)" video for "Chucky". It was meant to be dude!
