Starring Max Julien as Goldie, a petty thief newly released from jail who decides to enter the pimping game to avoid the cycle of recidivism. His return to his old neighborhood is celebrated with his new aspirations of being the greatest pimp to ever live. There is also a split between the minds of Black America at the time represented by Goldie and his brother Olinga, a man on a mission to clean up his neighborhood and make a way for Black people inside White America. Goldie also runs head first into other notorious pimps like Pretty Tony and drug dealers and a crime boss named The Fat Man.
