Lateral motion is often times overlooked in movement sessions. Loosing a focus on this can lead to an increased risk for injury and a decline in overall movement efficiency in daily patterns of motion whether task or sport oriented. With a mindset on Body Wide Integration (BWI) take a look at these motions for improving lateral mobility and consider the influence of foot and hand positions. Try them for yourself and have fun!
