We had just 24 hours to see Salzburg, Austria on our road trip across Europe. We made the most of it and tried to fit in as many attractions as we could. Salzburg is a beautiful city, but it was pretty crowded when we visited There were far more tourist than we were expecting. I guess the Sound of Music has really pulled in the tourist. You can't walk any part of the city without seeing something related to Sound of Music, tours, shops, concerts, plays, you name it, they got it.
