Cihuapilli Rose Amador has Aurora Mamea as her guest on this weeks Native Voice TV. Aurora moved to back to the San Francisco Bay Area, about ten years ago, from the Blackfeet Reservation in Browning Montana. Since then she has been involved in various projects and organizations with the Native Community. Aurora has been Head Woman Dancer at several Pow Wows around the area. She is also a dance instructor and an incredible singer, as you'll see towards the end of this piece. Aurora sings a song by Fawn Wood that brings tears to just about everybody's eyes in the studio. ALL NATIVE VOICE TV SHOWS CAN NOW BE SEEN streaming live on SATURDAYS AT 4:00pm P.S.T. and MONDAYS at 8:00pm@ www.creatvsj.org Steve Macias is one of the original founding members of the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps, a bass player, former jet dragster driver turned associate producer, director and editor for Native Voice TV in San Jose, California. We're trying to meet and help promote Indigenous people from the music, movie and entertainment industries as well as artists and craftsmen of Native art.
