This episode combines four stories from the Second Season of Osiyo, Voices of the Cherokee People. Four amazing Cherokee artists, each working in traditional or emerging genres are featured. Bessie Russell has been weaving baskets for more than 40 years. Kalyn Fay Barnoski is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter and also a visual artist. Lorene Drywater shares her process for making buffalo grass dolls, and Cherokee artist Eddie Morrison opens up about the people and experiences that have shaped his award-winning work
