Swedish-Cherokee artist, America Meredith presents a lecture on early Cherokee art history, from the Qualla Phase to the modern era (ca. 1400-1950). Ms. Meredith earned her MFA in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute and her BFA from the University of Oklahoma. This presentation was webcast on April 4, 2014 from Rooms 4018 and 4019 at the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D. C.
