❝ darling, i beg come back to me ❞ _____________________ hi ;; so, i'll start off by saying that i'm really proud of this - for pushing myself, and for being able to stop and question myself and what I really want to come from one of my edits. I started this off just playing around in after effects and trying some effects that i'd wanted to try for a while now; that ended up going really well and it made me really happy, so i decided to just continue like that. But I played back the edit when I was about halfway done and realised that it meant nothing to me at all - watching it, I was really proud of myself for trying new things, but emotionally it was just really empty. That made me question why i edit - and it's not just to show others some text effects, but to get others to feel something. to feel happy, sad, angry, in love, it doesn't matter - as long as i could make you feel anything. so yes, halfway through the edit i changed direction, and decided to edit something that felt more like me.
