This week we begin a new series as we move into and through Lent called Invited. The title of the message is: To Be Wide in Your Embrace.The scripture passage I will be using is John 13:1-17 and we will be looking at the passage where Jesus washes the feet of his disciples and in doing so invites his followers to a way of living where they reach across the divide of their own prejudices to embrace those who are different from them. Read and reflect on the passage this week when you have a chance and think about the invitation as it relates to you personally.
