Sweet Sound is the eighth song on Ingrid Mae's debut album Sugarcoated. Sugarcoated was written and produced in Sydney at Squirrel Music studios. The album was mastered at Turtlerock Mastering by Rick O'Neil and features 12 songs. A self-confessed chaos addict and rampant artist her sentiments of life and love can on the surface appear relatively benign almost symmetrical. She’s an old soul. She loves the idea of romance and sometimes loves a cliché’. Dig a little deeper however and her raw truth can slap you in the face. It is this very juxtaposition that set the scene for her debut album in the first place. Sugarcoated is as much intended to tell stories that woo and charm as it is a cry for realism and authenticity. Sweet Sound is a rock song.
