Food Friday: Agricultural research on climate change

Climate change is a reality that the world must live with today and the agriculture sector across the world is absorbing the greatest impact of the changing climate. If it isn’t droughts, it is floods and if not it is pests and diseases. The more erratic the weather, the more agricultural research takes centre stage, providing the solutions needed to climate proof the sector. For next few Fridays, Food Friday will be focusing on agriculture research in the context of climate change looking at the progress Kenya has made towards climate proofing its food system.
