Yes, people, I've finally got Mario Kart 8! Now, this game was in my mailbox on the release date (thank you, Amazon), and I've been playing this game a lot since then. If you want to know my progress, I've 3-starred every cup (including Mirror) and I have all 90 stickers. It's gonna be tough collecting all of the coins, which means doing loads of WiFi races. I'm planning to put up a weekly WiFi race of MK8 (Worldwide or Regional depending on how I feel). Before I played the replay ghost, there are two times in that bar graph. The Morton icon is my time and the Bowser icon is some other ghost I downloaded to show I'm giving credit to the person who came up with the strat. In this video, you will notice a quality change. I had to downgrade my Wii U resolution to 1080i since Game Capture HD's recording quality for it was 1080i. Good thing Sony Vegas could up the resolution back to 1080p. Recording 1080p in Game Capture HD would screw the whole video up. That also means setting the frame rate in Vegas to 29.970fps. Anyway, enjoy the video! (Took me a while to reach this.)
