Part 3 - "Dr. Time" a/k/a Dave Dettmann continues the restoration of an 80 year old american mantle clock in an attempt bring it back to it's original beauty. Dave has been repairing clocks like this for over 30 years, and in this major overhaul which he calls the "Presidential" repair, what was once a bunch of wood & metal parts sitting in a box for years becomes a fully restored part of american heritage. In part 3, the bronze bushings are installed, broached, burnished & polished along with the rest of the brass parts, and then the parts are re-assembled so that the movement is ready for lubrication & test running.
