A short excerpt from the "Great Museums" video (2003) about the National Music Museum includes an introduction to the NMM's gamelan, Kyai Rengga Manis Everist made by Ud Soepoyo, Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia in 1999, The University of South Dakota gamelan ensemble, Tatag, is seen playing the various instruments in the gamelan. Commentary provided by Tatag Director, Dr. Deborah Check Reeves, NMM Conservator John Koster, and NMM Director Emeritus, Dr. Andre P. Larson.
