Rialto epoca marmo is a colored decorative plaster made up of seasoned slaked lime, high quality aggregates such as white Carrara marble, colored earths and natural oxides. Its traditional formulation allows it to create solid and substantial surfaces of refined beauty, full of contrast and colored shades involved in its unique style. Thanks to its contents of magnesian slaked lime that gives it structure and resistance, Epoca Marmo has an exceptional workability that will allow you to realize particularly distinct effects without compromising its peculiar abrasion and wear resistance. Using the stainless-steel trowel, we apply, on a surface of mineral nature that has been properly prepared and treated, the first coat of Epoca Marmo. At this stage, spreading and smoothing the product, we can decide the degree of irregularity of the surface that will characterize the final aspect. More irregularities at the base, will create more contrast in the final phase emphasizing the tones and the texture. A more even base, on the other hand, is used for a more sober and smooth finish that enhances the marble-like appearance. After an interval of 24 hours, our base will be ready for the second and last phase. Using a small amount of product, we apply a second and final coat by spreading and contemporarily smoothing the product. The irregularities of the base give rise to areas of much more enhanced color. This alternation will give a final effect of a wall with lively character, warm and vibrant colors. The Epoca Marmo's naturally opaque appearance is modifiable by polishing the surface with a stainless-steel trowel. This will bring out the contrast by conferring translucency and a worn texture to the walls. If we want to protect our decorated internal surfaces with Epoca Marmo, we can apply the water-based wax Rialto wax 15. Its composition produced from natural wax, soaps and siloxanic water-repellent agents will protect surfaces from dirt and stain absorption. Rialto wx 15 is applied by brush in a single application, drying and polishing with a clean and dry soft cloth. You will obtain the best protection and water-repellency after 24 hours from the application.
