BLAC CHYNA'S Lashed Bar | Lash Extensions

Whether you like her or not, it's hard to ignore Blac Chyna's drama with the Kardashian family. From the public beef with Kylie Jenner to the unexpected relationship with Rob Kardashian, Blac Chyna seems to always get caught in the middle. Since this is House of Haute and not a gossip blog, I want to put a spotlight on the positive moves that Chyna is making. If you didn't know, she is a successful business woman that has several companies including a clothing line, a rapidly growing makeup & skin care line (and the products are actually amazing), as well as a successful Eyelash Extension salon in the LA area (which is what I am sharing today). She's a great mom to her son King, and now she's about to expand her family with Rob and become a mom all over again as well as a wife! So here we are... I've finally gotten the chance to share my Lashed Bar by Blac Chyna experience! Quite a few people have asked me about my lash extensions. I have been going to Lashed Bar for exactly a year now and I can honestly say that I'm hooked. Chyna's partner Octavia Conver aka Aqua, is the main technician at Lashed Bar By Blac Chyna and for the most part runs the day to day operation at the salon. Book with her if you can, although anyone that is working under the LBBC umbrella will be amazing because their standards are set so high. The average price is about $150 for a new install and takes about 2 hours. Refills are needed every 3-4 weeks at about $75 a visit depending on the style and fullness you desire. If you don't live in the LA area or if you simply want to go somewhere else, keep these tips in mind: • Just like anything else in the beauty world, it doesn't pay to cut corners just to save a few dollars. This applies especially to services being done to your face. From the research that I've gathered, it's best to go somewhere that specializes in lash extensions and avoid places like random nail salons that are just trying to make extra cash flow. • Ask potential service providers about training, certifications or licenses they may have. Check reviews (sort the informative ones from the vindictive ones so that you can get a true understanding). • Can lash extensions cause your own lashes to fall out? Yes, just like regular hair extensions, if applied wrong or removed incorrectly, your natural lashes could be damaged. That's why it's important to go to a professional. Each lash should be applied individually. If your lashes seem gappy and have lots of spaces, chances are they're applied in clumps and done incorrectly. Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
