This recording by Billy J. Kramer struck a huge following in England and stateside as the mono recording was released here in late 1964. Managed by Beatles Brian Epstein, Billy J. was ultimately destined to record and follow songs of the Beatles, although this recording was written by J.L. McFarland and Mort Shuman.
