The Potter's House was built "before Kentucky," according to its owner. The original building was built around 1774. Nothing audacious here--this bed -n-breakfast is lovingly adorned with "ideas" at every glance. The floors and roofs are corned with character and history, but the comfort is preserved by kind hands and hearts. I heartily recommend the baked oatmeal for breakfast, accompanied by thin, crispy bacon strips and fresh fruit. This overnight stay was unplanned--a surprise. One must take note of such moments in life. Enjoy.
