Early Response to Laurel Wilt disease in an avocado grove

submitted by Ching Yang on 10/31/16 1

October 2015 was my last Laurel wilt visit. Now February 24, is here visiting again. I think this was caught very early and I have modified my response to a limited engagement of just removing the affected tree and its mayor roots, spraying the immediate area, infusing fungicide in adjacent trees and destroying the infected wood. If there is no root transmission in the next 2 months we probably are in good shape. For regular updates visit my blog at: www.treeinjectionsystems.com/laurel-wilt-disease-blog
