This unique panel will shed light on some of the most key issues facing the music and recording industries including: Navigating today's music industry, what music is worth in 2012, the Producer/Artist dynamic and what's next for the music industry? The broadcast will take place from the Vancity Theatre on Friday, November 16th at 3:30pm. About the Panel: Alice Cooper is an American rock singer, songwriter and musician whose career spans more than four decades. Chad Smith is the powerhouse behind the US super group Red Hot Chili Peppers. Chad pulls off effortlessly one of the most difficult challenges facing drummers, the ability to blend high powered rock with blistering funk grooves. Bob Ezrin is a Canadian music producer and keyboardist, best known for his work with artists Alice Cooper, Kiss and Pink Floyd. Garth "GGGarth" Richardson is a Canadian music producer and engineer, best known for his work with The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nickelback and Mötley Crüe, and producing Rage Against the Machine, Mudvayne and The Melvins. The Mentor Session education series was created by Bob Ezrin, Gggarth Richardson and "Dunner" (99.3 The Fox/Global TV) to provide guidance and education for emerging artists and recordding students to give them direct access to key figures in the Music Industry.
