Here is a do it yourself cedar garden planter box. Yes, it can be used as a flower box as well. Home gardening is highly rewarding. My family and I found this project to be simple enough to do together. The kids loved playing with dirt and planting seeds of their choice. The cool thing is that the design can be easily tweaked for lots of different sizes and shapes so that you can plant anything from salad greens to deep rooted plants such as tomatoes.
