DETAIL: Inflammatory Airway Disease (IAD) is a common condition that can cause poor athletic performance in the horse. Prof. Scott Pirie, from the University of Edinburgh, explains what we understand about IAD in accordance to the strength of scientific evidence available; clearly identifying where there is good scientific evidence and the areas which would benefit from further research.
