September 28, 2016 Sermon Title:”The Feast of Trumpets” Scripture Reference: Leviticus 23 God created certain special days, or feasts, for Israel to observe each year. Each of these special days has great significance for both Israel and for believers in Jesus. The Feast of Trumpets, or Yom Kippur, is the beginning of the Jewish year. This feast signifies the return of the Lord Jesus (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). We don’t know the exact date or time of Jesus’ return. Yet God has given us signs in the heaven to tell us that he is in control, and that his return is near.
