Adding a Facebook Like Box widget in WordPress, usually in your blog's sidebar, can get you more Likes because it's more likely for a user to click a Like button which is within reach, rather that going on a "trip" to your Facebook page. Basically, what you need to do in order to add a Facebook Like Box on your website, without using any plugins or going through your theme's code, is to go here developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-box-for-pages and customize your Like Box. After that, press Get Code and copy both parts (one after another) of the HTML5 code in a Text widget. You'll find a Text widget by going to your WordPress Dashboard - Appearance - Widgets. Once there, drag it on your Sidebar or Footer (don't recommend it), add a title and the codes and you're done! Save and check out your new Facebook Like Box widget!
