Tables and CSS in Dreamweaver

submitted by uklmhb on 09/30/16 1

www.helpvid.net Before the development of cascading style sheets [CSS] most web designers used tables to structure their whole website (some still do), however, most who moved with the times learned the advantages of using CSS, and how it provided the designer with more control over their website. With that said tables are still an integral part of and website and can be used to easily house data within our pages in a nice orderly fashion. Tables can help mould our pages, tables and CSS can work together much like the CSS association with div tags. Experiment with the CSS applied to your tables until you reach your desired effect, Its important to recognise you are in control. Ive discovered many people do not like to edit or mess with the CSS in fear they will mess up their whole page. Remember mistakes can easily be erased in Dreamweaver, if you never experiment with your CSS you will never conquer the possibilities.
