Minority Presence in Baseball has decreased due to several factors, including the high cost of playing travel baseball and attending showcases, and the lack of full scholarships for student athletes playing college baseball. The First Base Foundation is dedicated to making travel baseball more affordable and transforming lives through positive mentorship, developing leadership skills, and building self-esteem.
