dafont.com is a good place to download fonts .ttf .otf are the ones that are used regularly. These don't work for Internet explorer however, for it to work in IE browsers you will need a .eot font. there are websites like fontsquirrel that can take a ttf and generat ttf, otf and the eot files. You just need to copy/past the @font-face but have the eot font src'd
