The Colmcille Heritage Centre on the shores of Lough Gartan celebrates his life and work. Nearby is the Glebe Gallery which contains the renowned Derek Hill Collection of Victorian and 20th century art works. Gartan Outdoor Pursuits Centre is situated on the shores of Loch Gartan and is a very popular destination for adventure holiday enthusiasts.
