Description Car trip from Much Wenlock to Devil's Bridge in Central Wales. This video will eventually form the first one of three about a day in Wales. This is the record of a journey made on 20th Aug 2014. I used to make an identical journey quite frequently in the late 1960s to enjoy Welsh holidays, staying at one of the roadside cottages in we see in Cwmystwyth. In those days my starting point was Wolverhampton and I join my old route at 10:40 into this video. The whole road has hardly changed in 50 years. A bit of road straightening here and a bypass there, but that's all. The last six minutes of the video take us along the B4574 from Cwmystwyth and on to the final decent into Devil's Bridge. This route has been described by the AA as one of the ten most scenic drives in the world (see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B4574_road). Well, that's quite a claim - it's certainly pretty - it's even more pretty in the sunshine. But you make your own mind up! Video taken from a Mini 0803 Dash Cam.
