In this follow-along video, I share with you the intricacies that turn the lunge into a very effective stretch for your hip flexors which are the muscles at the front of the thigh/hips. This will help your hips have more hip extension (the ability to bring your thighs behind you without arching the back) and the cues in the video are applicable to ALL hip flexor stretches, including high lunges. In yoga the low lunge is called Anjaneyasana.
