Natural Food Colourings!

submitted by Metropolitan Yeti on 09/22/16 1

These natural food colourings can be made from ingredients in the pantry/fridge and used to colour various foods and cosmetics without having to resort to nasty artificial colourings. These are all really simple tricks/recipes and hopefully they are useful to you X Natural pigments; - red/pink - beet juice, dried beet, dried raspberries - yellow - saffron or turmeric - orange - carrot juice or dried - green - spinach juice or dried - purple -red cabbage liquid - or dried - blue - red cabbage liquid & pinch baking soda - brown -cocoa The taste of these colours can be masked with a slight flavouring like vanilla, caramel, peppermint essences or zests of fruit, oils etc. I don't mind the tastes and only find the turmeric and spinach particularly noticeable X I hope you enjoyed this video ♡ If you want to find my elsewhere here are some of my details: facebook www.facebook.com/pages/Ela-Gale/567741150027455 twitter twitter.com/ElaGale Instagram @elagale some FAQ: how old are you? : 22 Where do you live? : New Zealand What do you film with: Canon 60d & canon s120 What do you edit on: FCPX What do you study: Masters in Communication of Science and filmmaking What do you love most in life: bruce -my chihuahua, my family & bf, animals, sunshine, FOOD, nature, compassion...
